How to Get your Atheros (ar242x) working on Intrepid - METHOD 2

Hey guys, i am bored replying wireless threads about ar242x, even tho i post a method at my blog here , some people filled my e-mail address about that method does not work for them.So here is another method, this is tested on intrepid 2.6.27-7-generic kernel. If you used the method i post before, revert it back.

Edit blacklist file and blacklist those modules (1 module per line)

$sudo gedit /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist

and add those at the end of the file :

blacklist ath_pci
blacklist ath_hal

Reboot your ubuntu box.Install these files :

$sudo apt-get install ndiswrapper-common ndiswrapper-utils-1.9 ndisgtk

Now go to System > Administration > Windows Wireless Drivers

Download this file and extract it to your Desktop or anywhere you want :

Download this >>>> http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?njmdytwnqjz

Now go to Windows Wireless Drivers which we have opened it before (left picture : ) ), click install new driver and find net5211.inf which we have extracted above.
That is all.If it does not work for you, check my other method.

EDIT : This is fixed at Ubuntu Jaunty, now it works out of the box
